GLOBAL STEEL COMPANY | 24/7 AFTER SALES SUPPORT
Welcome to Sandeep Enterprises, your trusted supplier of high-quality hot work steel. Hot work steel is a critical material used in high-temperature environments. Known for its excellent thermal stability, toughness, and resistance to heat cracking, hot work steel is ideal for applications such as die casting, extrusion, and forging. At Sandeep Enterprises, we specialize in supplying top-quality hot work steel to meet the diverse needs of our clients. These steels work with heat. They are recognized for great wear resistance, heat conductivity, hardness and robustness at increased temperatures. These steels have better features for use due to decreased sulphur level.
Special Steel Includes Cold Work Steel, Hot Work Steel, Plastic Mould Steel, High Speed Steel, High Strength Steel, Abrasion Resistant Steel. These tool materials adhere to great quality demands of steel like temper, strength, toughness, resistance to tempering, hardening capacity, dimensional stability etc. The range of Tool Steel in our store includes products from renowned manufacturers.
Main characteristics and applications Hot working special steel with high wear resistance associated with special thermal fatigue properties.Steel can be air hardened or pressure gas (vacuum) which makes it possible to reduce distortion and cracks caused by heat treatment. At working hardness of 50HRC excellent toughness and is therefore suitable for use in a wide field of operating condition. This steel is used for tools as: dies for the pressure casting of light alloys. wear resistance moulds for plastic processing. dies for friction and mechanical presses for hot forming of steel, brass, aluminum and its alloys. extrusion dies for aluminum processing. hot work shear blades. To raise lifetime of tools this steel can be submitted to surface treatment as thermo-chemical treatments on the tools or nitriding (ion saline gaseous).
Read MoreMain characteristics and applications High wear resistance hot-working steel, also be used for wear resistance and polished plastic moulds.Steel is easy to machine in the annealed condition and needs a hardening process before final machining. This steel also shows excellent toughness and high level insensitivity to thermal shock and thermal fatigue. A nitriding surface treatment can be carried out to increase the life of the tooling.Main applications: dies for the pressure casting of light alloys. wear resistance plastic moulds. tooling for the extrusion of light alloys and steels. hot work shear blades. rolls for profiling tools (welding area). Forging dies.Hot working tools should be preheated to temperatures in the range 250 300C before use.

Read MoreCharacteristics Tungsten-chromevanadium steel for hardening in oil and possibly in air with very good hardenability, very high firmness during the heat and resistance to the tempering, high resistance to the hot tempering and good toughness. Further the steel has a lower resistance to tearing of thermal fatigue and higher sensitivity to quick changes of temperature. The steel is not appropriate for tools cooled by water. It is well-workable during the heat and well-workable in the soft-annealed state. Suitability For tools for hot mechanical working such as highly stressed small pressing dies and die inserts especially for die forging of accurate products from the difficult-workable steels and copper alloys, thorns and jaws for forging presses, forgings for swaging, tools for production of rivets, nuts and screws, small extrusion dies (matrixes), thorns, pressing discs for extrusion of alloys of non-ferrous metals. Further the firm and movable parts of molds, core and other small and highly stressed parts of molds for pressure casting of copper alloys can be made from the steel. Tools for hot cutting such as highly stressed small shear blades, punching dies, small trimming dies.
Read MoreCharacteristics Medium alloyed cold work steel with good hardening capacity, high wear resistance, dimensionally stable during heat treatment. Its applications are small tools for cutting and punching, shear knives, thread rolling tools, measuring tools, wood working tools. Suitability Tools for cold cutting, i.e. all kinds of tools with the long durability for cutting on presses and punching of materials of smaller thicknesses and materials of high hardness (especially difficult-shape tools for cutting, e.g. transformer metal sheets and metal sheets from stainless steels), knives for plate shears for the sheet and strip steel up to thickness of 10 mm of sheared material, knives for wire cutting etc. Tools for mechanical working such as e.g. smaller girders and tools for drawing, all kinds of tools for transformation and punching of materials. Further the steel is suitable for simple and symmetric tools for pressing and pushing, tools for thread rolling, plain and profile rolls, swages and also for cold work. Cutting tools such as broaching thorns, profile knives and difficult-shape milling machines for lower cutting speeds and for treatment of nonmetallic abrasive materials. Further the steel is applied in the production of highly stressed molds and their components for working of plastic and powder substances, glass, porcelain and ceramic materials. By tools for crushing and grinding it is used for hammers of crushers and jaws for mild grinding and crushing.
